I appreciate dogs, Warner Brothers cartoons and long walks along urban canals. Chocolate make me sneeze, though that doesn’t stop me from eating it. When asked whether my glass is half empty or half full, I tend to think: “Hey! I’ve got a drink… Result!” Which means I’m either extremely upbeat in general or a raging alcoholic. Or, possibly, both.
I believe that a beach – not some sun-bleached white sand dazzler, but one with water-worn stones, the detritus of sea shells and the mini-ecologies of rock pools – is a great place to spend a cloudy Sunday afternoon.
If the Hokey Cokey IS what it’s all about, I’m so happy to live in a universe that dances as if no one’s watching.
